License
Jurnal Perikanan supports the open dissemination of research findings to broaden access to and the use of knowledge in fisheries and marine sciences.
If the journal adopts the CC BY 4.0 license, the recommended wording is:
Articles published in Jurnal Perikanan are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
This license permits readers to read, download, copy, share, distribute, and adapt articles for various purposes, including commercial uses, provided that appropriate attribution is given to the authors and the original source and that any changes made are clearly indicated.
Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Perikanan regards the originality of scholarly work as a fundamental requirement for publication. Every submitted manuscript must be the authors’ original work and free from plagiarism, fabricated citations, and the use of others’ work without adequate attribution.
Before or during the editorial process, manuscripts may be screened using similarity-detection software to identify textual overlaps with previously published sources.
A similarity-check result does not, by itself, establish that plagiarism has occurred. Before reaching a decision, the Editor will consider the sources of overlapping text, patterns of similarity, the use of quotations, and the sections of the manuscript identified by the screening.
Where an unacceptable level of similarity or indications of plagiarism are identified, a manuscript may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected if the violation is substantial.
Plagiarism discovered after publication will be addressed through the journal’s correction or retraction procedures in accordance with the publication ethics policies of Jurnal Perikanan.
